How to get to the university?
The main campus of the Technical University of Munich is easily accessible by public transport and located near Munich Central Station.

Ticket for Local Public Transport
A ticket for public transport is not included in the conference fee. If you need a ticket please buy it from MVV (Münchner Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund GmbH).
Arrival by Car
Due to the parking and traffic situation in Munich, it is not recommended to travel by car. Guest parking spaces are not available at TU.
Arrival by Train
Book your train journey to Munich Central Station with the Deutsche Bahn event ticket and travel easily and comfortably at a fixed price throughout Germany.
The walk from central station to the TU takes about 10 minutes. Keep left at the main exit of the central station and follow Luisenstraße. At Königsplatz cross Brienner Straße and walk to Gabelsberger Straße, which you cross. Then keep to the right until Hochschulstraße leads to the left under the TU Glockenturm (bell tower).
If you prefer to take the underground, take the U2 from the main station basement floor in the direction of Feldmoching to:
- Stop Königsplatz: Take the 'Glyptothek' exit, keep left and follow Luisenstraße to Gabelsbergerstraße. Cross the street and keep right until you reach the TU Glockenturm (bell tower) and turn left into Hochschulstraße.
- Stop Theresienstraße: Take the exit 'Pinakotheken' and follow Theresienstraße in an easterly direction until you reach the two connecting corridors from the TU main campus and the north campus via Theresienstraße. The passage to Hochschulstraße is on the right between these overpasses.
Arrival by Plane
From Munich Airport you can take the S-Bahn S1 or S8 of the MVV. Alternatively, the Lufthansa Express Bus takes you to Munich Central Station in approx. 45 minutes.
